Username: Your username is sort of a snapshot lead (sorry, I'm a writer. Snapshot Lead: creates a picture) that tells me you're someone who wouldn't usually care or something. I guess it could make sense, and it definitely stands out to me, so I would click on it. 5/5 Title: It isn't really creative or special or anything... it's sort of ordinary, like "My Journal." And there are StIcKy CaPs... they hurt my eyes. It doesn't say much about you or your writing, so... 1/5 First Sight: I like the comic. It seems neat, organized, readable... okay. The colors blend well (because black goes with everything...) and it's appealing to the eyes. 8/10 Your Sacrifice: Well, first of all, I couldn't find the link to the archive, so I had to type in "older.html" in the address bar (if it's really there, I'm sorry, that's my fault. It wasn't under navigation...) What happened to the other layout? It's still the same colors, and they still blend but... everything just sort of disappeared (and the title changed, but at least it's not StIcKy CaPs). Sometimes you update daily (but this doesn't go on for long) and usually there are long gaps like 5-10 day gaps or more. You posted some entries several times which just gave your page more unnecessary length, and caused me confusion. Sometimes you posted several times a day, which happens rarely (unless it's the same entry). Your diary goes back a long way (up to January) and it isn't organized by months or anything (but neither is mine...), so it can make things confusing. 3/8 Sparkling Diamond: I like the layout. I'm a (not necessarily big) fan of Lenore. The colors do blend, and you have the link back to your designer (which was almost hard to find for me). But your navigation isn't complete, like there was no Older, Newest, etc., like I mentioned earlier. Actually, your links are sort of spread out all over the place, which is disturbing/confusing. The colors blend. I like how you have thanks to everyone who helped in the layout down there on the bottom. But when you scroll any lower than that, you see the counter, the blob (the blob doesn't blend in with the other colors, except black) and the tagbook, and you sort of know that that wasn't part of the layout and you just added that yourself. It gives your diary a sort of amateur look, especially with the unused space on the left and right of your tagbook. I guess if it was only the counter and the blob, it would be okay, but you need the tagbook as I can see it's one of your means of communication. But something disturbing was that your previous/next links didn't work (so I visited your archives page a lot of times, which was annoying, especially because there were no links to it), so you need to fix that. Just a bit of touching up with the links and the tagbook thing, and this could be perfected. Just a suggestion: you might want to put the navigation ABOVE the Who am I? bit because the navigation is more important. But I have to say I like the thing on the status bar. How do people do that? 15/25 Guestbook: It is a regular template, but you have a guestbook (unlike me) so... 1/2 Readability: Yeah, I can read it easily. 5/5 The Love: In your entries, all of your paragraphs are very short and not very detailed. All of your entries are really short, too. Most of your paragraphs are 2-3 sentences at the most. But some of your entries you pour more meaning into, and more effort, sort of. Some of your entries I really liked because they involve your friends and how you really look up to them and all. I just think that's cool. A tip would be paragraphing, maybe. I started with the first entry. It's short, but... yeah. Short. So you warn us that it's a journal, and that's cool. That's where you put your contact info... You should put your contact info under navigation though. It makes things easier. Your first entry isn't really anything different, but that's okay. I liked how in this entry you stand up for your friend, Bridget. You also appologize and that's something different, something I've never seen anyone do when they get mad at someone. But it's nice how you stood up for her. I also like this entry and how it's titled: Life is too short to stay mad. It's how you're giving advice to your readers, I guess. How you tell people that you should care more about you friends and stuff. But it's sort of annoying like those e-mails you get from 5000 people about how life is too short to postpone things, but... hey, its something I've never seen in a diary. And also how in the entry after that one, you really pour out your thoughts about how people care or not, only you really get mad at Caity... and use inappropriate words but hey, its pouring out your thoughts, isn't it? I like the entry about the showing. First you get mad at Caity, but then you mention how you felt when you noticed how you realized the Zach was gone. It was very descriptive, and later on, you're saying sorry and thanks to some people because it might be "their time" soon, or that Zack would want you to. It's nice how you care about him so much that you're really doing what he'd want you to do. Haha, and I thought they only did that in the movies. I like the song you wrote dedicated to Zach. I think that's really sweet, and it's a good song, only I don't know the tune, but hey. Well anyway, I'm going to skip down to June because I don't have the time or space to list down all those other entries. So... June. Summer Vacation time. Most of your entries in this month are day-to-day entries, just telling about how your day was like, so I skimmed through those. I like your entry about ErN. I sort of found it boring, but I liked how you made the entry for her anyway. I really liked this entry about how you talked about your thoughts and emotions, and how you almost believed in God for your Grandmother, ashamed of yourself... I realize that you really really care for your relatives and friends now, and that's really cool. It shows that you're not a very selfish person, and that you are the total opposite of what your username proposes, because you do care. Come on. Admit it. Anyway, most of your entries are day-to-day, but some of your entries are really full of emotion and meaning and stuff. So... 37/50 Grammar: You use Internet slang an awful lot, it eventually gets annoying, but in some entries you wrote appropriately. Your spelling isn't exactly perfect, but it's nothing major. But brush up on the Internet slang: I know life outside of school doesn't involve any correct spelling or good grammar, but it does in some points, like reviews and foreign readers. 5/10 Glitter: Okay... lets see, you've got a tagboard, counter, note adding thing, guestbook... yeah... 5/15 Extra Credit: Hmm... no... 0/5 Lasting Impression: Probably not... There was nothing really special that holds it in my mind or anything, but you never know! (5/10) Will I Come Back?: Probably not, but maybe if I'm bored or anything. Your life seems interesting, I guess. 5/10 Total: 85/160 Number of Entries Read: Entries of January, June, July, August, September, October and November. Favorite Entry: This entry and maybe this one. Favorite Quote: And now... if there really is a "God", PLEASE answer my prayer and let me know that she is alright and let her know that I LOVE HER, AND THAT I ALWAYS WILL! I don't know. I can't help it. It sounded so sweet. Comments: Thanks for being my first reviewee. If I graded you unfairly, please know this: I deeply thought after reading your diary that your life was interesting and NOT boring at all. Do not let your score fool you, because I really liked you diary. I'm new at this... so bear with me. Cheers! Reviewed by: Aless
