version: butterflies. (((take these broken wings)))

Username: Seems kind of cute and fun, it doesn’t appeal to me hugely, but it was okay – and had an innocent sort of impression. (4/5)

Title: I liked the ‘take these broken wings’ but the rest of it seemed rather pointless. It looks a bit over-done, but has potential. Cut it down a bit. (3/5)

First Sight: I love that blue. Wow, the butterflies are pretty too. Though, full credit on picking a brilliant design. I do prefer it when people design their own diaries – but this template is really pretty and so clear. The navigation looks nice, and it doesn’t seem cluttered. My first impression was that I couldn’t wait to get reading! (10/10)

Your Sacrifice: Most days, odd skips here and there though. (5/8)

Sparkling Diamond: Credit for this design goes to Lissy Designs - which I thought was dead, but it apparently still works for you. The blue is lovely, and the butterflies are gorgeous. The navigation is clear, un-cluttered and so organised. What can I say? Brilliant design choice. It’s pretty, It’s girly and it gives such a soothing and relaxing impression. The one tiny, so small I almost didn’t mention it, thing I didn’t like was the imood little icon. It doesn’t fit in with your diary – I think it looks out of place. (23/25)

Guestbook: It’s blues again which is lovely. Very clear and organised, appears to work fine. (2/2)

Readability: Good font face, size and colour. I wouldn’t change a thing. (5/5)

The Love: Okay first things first… I soon realized everything was ‘wicked’ something or other… It’s so incredibly annoying!!! Your entries generally are day-logs, but that didn’t even bother me that much as they tended to be relatively interesting – but the whole ‘wicked short’ or ‘wicked shallow’ etc – drove me mad!!!

You seem to jump from emotion to emotion on a daily basis. Reading through your diary, one minute nobody likes you, everybody is ignoring you – next you are all happy and peachy… Hmm, that makes me think that some entries are just a little less dramatic then you make them out to be!

You seem to have a fun, out-going kind of nature, despite claiming to be shy, and it does usually make for an interesting read. However you always seem to mention how nobody is reading your diary, and how you want someone to leave you a message – This annoyed me. If you are writing your diary for other peoples reactions then is there really a point? Your diary is meant to be for you, so stop fussing over what other people are doing. I don’t like to think that someone is exaggerating events in their life just for the sake of gaining more interest, I’m hoping you don’t do it too often… If you write genuine thoughts and feelings people will read anyway – you don’t need to beg for the attention.

I liked this entry. When you were talking about coming second to people if their girlfriends were online was interesting – it bothers a lot of people and I found it easy to relate to.

Another entry I was quite keen on, because it showed a lot of emotion, and was really sweet in a lot of ways was this one. It was a nice read, and made a change from day-logs. I think this kind of writing is what kept me reading.

Your writing style seems a little young at times, and I can’t put my finger on why, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing – it just sometimes seems a little silly and immature – but perhaps that is the ‘fun’ aspect to your diary. Just didn’t always appeal to me.

I liked this entry, as it was a bit more meaningful – and the way you talked about loving people but not in a romantic way – I related to completely. It was a lovely entry. I also understood what you meant about people finding your online diary and so needing a private one too… It is a shame you can’t completely open up in this one, but I do see where you are coming from.

Overall though, I liked the way you balanced what has been happening, to how you felt and thought about things. Most of the time it was a pleasant read and it wasn’t too much to force myself through. I’m not sure I could completely relate to you all the time – you seem a bit mad! (in the nicest way of course!). You do come across as friendly and fun, but with a caring side – so all in all it wasn’t a bad thing to be reading your diary! (35/50)

Grammar: Not perfect, not always capitalized – but you said yourself it was your diary so you’d write it however you wanted, which is fine… just won’t get you lots of extra grammar points. (5/10)

Glitter: Loads of extras, to name a few, About me, Quizzes, Reviews, Cast. There is plenty of pretty extras all waiting down the right hand side of the page. Seems well done. I’d be interested to see 101 Facts? (12/15)

Extra Credit: Even though it’s a design template I feel inclined to give you extra credit for your choice in design – I just really liked it. (2/5)

Lasting Impression: Hmm… hard to say… Though I found the online relationships an interesting read – I’m not sure if I’d remember them for long! I don’t think anything will stick in my mind about your entries, but I enjoyed the time which I was there. (5/10)

Will I Come Back?: Probably not, though I may pop by from time to time. (5/10)

Total: 116/160

Number of Entries Read: Quite a few, if not most of them - though some I skim-read.

Favorite Entry: This one. I liked the comment about waking up to the sound of his voice… It was sweet.

Favorite Quote: ”stupid tears. stupid life. stupid me.”

Comments: Your diary is a breath of fresh air – little bit odd, little bit fun – mixed in with some real emotional entries, I did enjoy reading it… I hope you keep this diary going and don’t move everything over to the private one.
