Kathy [diary url] [email] Diary Likes: Beautiful layouts, lots of extras, poetry, quizzes, nice fonts, easy to navigate, in depth/emotional and "wow" writing that I can really get into (make me want to come back!), colors, and a good personality shining through. I also love it when someone appreciates the review enough to sign the *notes* to thank me! hint hint Diary Dislikes: Lots of grammar and spelling errors, boring/ clashing or cluttered layout, bad writing in general, egotistical feel, judgmental-ness...
Diary Likes: I love diaries that are full of introspection, because I think that's what a diary should be. I also like to see a layout that reflects who you are. Quizzes and rings are a fun plus, but what I'm really looking for in your diary is you. I want to be able to feel who you are and why you feel the way you do. Poetry is great, yours or your favorites. Diaries of people in love are also a favorite of mine, since I can relate. Diary Dislikes: I really dislike diaries in netspeak and diaries that whine about how unfair the whole world is. I also dislike pure daylogs, where the writer doesn't reflect on what happened. I don't like closed-minded people, and if you are racist/sexist/insertwordendingin-ist-here then please don't ask for me. I am a designer, and because I know how much work that takes I cannot stand diaries that have stolen a designer's work and failed to give them credit. I will report you, and your template score will be very low. I don't like diaryland templates much, though I understand sometimes they're a neccessary evil (just a hint... beautify ).
Diary Likes: Humour, organisation, functionality, original and beautiful layouts, interesting writing, etc. Diary Dislikes: Rudeness, narrowmindedness, spelling mistakes, busy layouts, javascript errors, etc.
Diary likes: I love emotion that I can really get into. I want to feel what you're feeling. I also like to be able easily navigate your diary. My philosophy on diaries is that you write for yourself. I love to get entries in my guestbook..... **wink wink** Diary dislikes: I hate color combinations that don't contrast enough so I can't read it. I also don't like a lot of depressing entries, a few add character but not all the time. The last thing that I can't stand is if I can't follow the story line because you have too many characters that you don't indentify.
Diary Likes: Like I said, I like to laugh, so if you can throw a little humour into your entries, that's a plus. I also like when there's a lot of emotion in your diary. I don't mind a little internet slang...an "lol" here or there is okay, but not all the time. It's okay if your diary is a bit of a day-log, as long as you make it interesting. Tell the reader what happened during your day, and how you *felt* about what happened. You know what I mean. I like layouts that say something about you. Your layout should mean something. Diary Dislikes: Like I said, I don't mind if you use a "lol" a couple times, but PLEASE don't use internet slang all the time, and of course, just like everybody else says, pLeAsE dOnT tYpE lIkE tHiS. It's annoying, and it's hard to read. I also don't like it when people don't use relatively correct puncuation and capitalization. Periods come at the end of a sentence. Capitals come at the beginning of a sentence. And paragraphing...PLEASE paragraph. I hate it when people talk about their dog, the movie they saw the night before, the vacation they're going on the next year and then what's happening at school tomorrow, all in the same paragraph. And if your diary has racist, sexist, or anything prejudice in it, please don't ask me to review you. Also, "gay" is not an insult...
Diary Likes: Extras, originality, emotion, easily navigated, being thanked *hint* *hint* etc. Diary Dislikes: Short entries with no meaning, spelling mistakes and bad grammar, errors in the HTML, shortsightedness, Times New Roman in layout, blinding colors, etc.
Diary Likes: Colorful entries with description and detail. I want to drift away in words and emotions. Tasteful, interesting, thought provoking layouts are also a plus. Diary Dislikes: Typical poor grammar usage as well as poor English. I am not fond of reading entries that are all in small caps or consist of da instead of the. Overly cluttered layouts that take away from the entries themselves are also not a favorite. Anthony [diary url] [email] Short Bio: Born and raised in southeast Louisiana, I am 15 years old. I've always been a missfit here. My entire family has no ambitions whatsoever and few have gone to college. It is as if I was destined to fail... but I've never believed in destiny. I have succeeded in places they have not, and I am following my goals.. of freedom, truth, beauty, and of course, love. Diary likes: Emotion. Emotion is a great part of a diary. I also enjoy philosophy and pondering. This goes along with the emotion, but moreso what you THINK about things. The entries need not be long, only meaningful. Also, an extra that may get a few extra little points from me, but I will never DOCK points for not having, is the display of a rational mind. Teenage rants on their latest crush that make no sense whatsoever just doesnt reflect well, unless of course, you include emotion in it. Diary dislikes: I HATE dairies that have little meaning in their text. When diaries become words full of empty nothings, I honestly cant stand reading them.
