I could use a few [say, two good and dedicated ones] more reviewers.

1. Do not apply as a ploy so you can get reviewed faster.

2. That means you must actually be willing to review, seriously.

3. Thought maybe I didn't make it clear, if your diary has not been reviewed before please apply first then tell us you have sent the application.

Therefore you can't really "request" to be a reviewer. You must go through the process of applying then you will accepted or denied. Most likely accepted, I'm sure.

4. I do not have clear-cut mandates on doing 2-3 reviews a day because I'd prefer reviews to be detailed and thorough. But I would like you to try to do at least five a week, but that is in no way a stopping point. If you can do way more than five and keep it detailed, please go right ahead.

5. Do not do anything to the Pending list except delete people's names you have reviewed after you are done.

There are other things that I believe are quite obvious, therefore I will not insult your intelligence to detail them here.
