Username: Doesn’t jump out at me I’m afraid… I can see the idea behind it and it probably wouldn’t make me run away from it – but it doesn’t entice me to click on your name either…(2/5)

Title: Well it pretty much is just saying what it is – right? So I can’t fault you too much, but it’s not very imaginative – AnD It’S WrItTeN LiKe ThIs – never good! (2/5)

First Sight: I like darker layouts, and this one is quite nice. I’ve got nothing bad to say about John Lennon so I can’t fault the design, and I absolutely love the quote alongside it. I like how everything is broken up so it’s all organised and manages to stay fairly simple – which is good. That red heart stands out a bit and looks out of place though. (9/10)

Your Sacrifice: It’s not daily, but it’s not huge skips. I know everyone has lives, so I’m not going to score you incredibly low – but try and be a bit more organised with it – even if you just plan to write an entry every few days… it looks better if there is a pattern to it. You started writing your archive titles normally now so I won’t mention the earlier ones… I’m glad you changed that aspect of your diary. (6/8)

Sparkling Diamond: Okay, I think you made this yourself judging from this entry, and the fact that I can find no design link. In that case, well done, it looks brilliant. It’s weird when I first saw it I was sure I’d seen something really similar before – but I can’t of, perhaps it’s just the colours. Anyway, the colour scheme is good, the darker background makes everything stand out, I’m not sure I like the link effect, You know – it gets blurry when my mouse is over it… But it’s all well done and looks quite professional. Navigation all to the left hand side, which keeps it organised and simplistic – in the best possible way of course! Overall it’s not a design I would personally choose, but I see why you have made it, and I think it’s really well done. A question though – why have you disabled right click? (23/25)

Guestbook: Well it doesn’t match in with your layout – it’s so orange… But all seems to be working fine and is clear enough so I can’t fault it. If you could change the background to something darker it would probably be more fitting with your main design. (2/2)

Readability: The font is a little small. I think that needs to maybe go up one or something. I’m viewing it on 1024x768, so maybe that is why – but still, I think it could be a little bigger. Other then that it’s all fine. (4/5)

The Love: I quickly came across this entry, it’s nice to actually find someone that watched Chicago and didn’t think it was the best film ever… I didn’t think it was brilliant, but everyone else seemed to… However from what I can gather from that entry it seems like you had fun there because of someone not the film…. Always good!

You seem like quite a happy person for the most part, though there are instances when you’ve been down too… I think your diary is written as if you were just talking – does that make sense? It all just seems to ramble from point to point, which actually makes it better reading from my point. I like that it’s not a brilliantly complex and advanced writing style – because it’s just a diary. Your writing style keeps it personal and makes it a nice read for the most part.

Some of your entries (Example) Are a bit of a day log, The difference being you write it in so much detail. Usually detail it a wonderful thing, but I think that when you are just describing your day it isn’t the most riveting of reads. Do you re-read any of your own entries from the start? I think that it would be interesting for people who know you, or even for yourself – but I just can’t see it being hugely fascinating for outside readers… At least not all the time. I think you need to cut down the detail in the day-log and perhaps add a few more thoughts/feelings into it.

This entry was nice, you seemed to enjoy yourself and it showed in your entry. Your personality does show through when you’re happy. I found it quite an entertaining read.

The next few entries were mainly a bumpy ride of how things were going with Jon… I was actually quite interested to find out more about what you thought about it all – but you seemed to just say, well I felt like crying, I was confused… and that was it. More emotion in these entries would of made them more compelling to continue, however I was happy to see how it concluded.

This was a weird entry, I’m a skeptic so I didn’t really believe it, but if it did happen then it must have been weird. I think it was probably someone just moving it, but you seem convinced so that’s fine. Braver then me, I wouldn’t even try it.

Personally, I would make this entry into just a list of your likes and dislikes and then link it on the main page. As it is now, it’s a bit of a mix between an extra and an entry, so you should decide which it is, and try and organise it better. But, that’s just a suggestion.

Your diary has mentioned Jon an awful lot, and most of the time you are happy with him, it was a shame to read this entry, I can’t believe he would say that he cared but you cared more, that must have been really hurtful and I’m not sure I could forgive something like that personally. It must have been really painful and you showed your emotions in this entry really clearly… It was well written, and it’s probably one of the best written ones. This was really sad, I can’t believe that on your one year anniversary that you broke up. Must of been really hard for you. It was a long detailed entry, but I think it needed to be.

I love the quote inthis entry, just thought it deserved a mention, it really is brilliant - and I know what you mean about it giving hope. Who wrote it? Where did it come from?

This entry has made me determined to go and watch Interview with a Vampire once I’ve done this review. I love that film, you mentioned it before - but after keeping hearing about it I’m going to have to see it again. You seem to have quite good taste in music/films thankfully. (I saw the ‘I want to spear Britney’ ring… Brilliant!)

Basically, your diary consisted of Jon, Jon and Jon. I’m glad I read it from start to finish as it gave me an idea of what it was like before your broke up, and then after… I thought your emotions were limited except when it came to writing about Jon, and then you were quite explicit. I couldn’t really relate to your diary and that was the main problem. You write in detail - but I’d probably cut down the amount of day-log in there, otherwise you have a nice diary, and I wish you luck in the future in regards to the whole Jon saga… you seem to be getting over it slowly but surely though. I think if someone else with more in common with you had been reading the diary you would of done better, but in general yeah I thought it was an okay read. (39/50)

Grammar: Huge long clumps of writing with no break (Example) give me a headache and make me skim-read…. Neither good things when reviewing your diary. Break your writing up a bit. Quite a few instances of slang, but that doesn’t really bug me so I’m not putting your score down for it. (8/10)

Glitter: You’ve got a ‘Currently’ section on your main page, and lots of links to other sites. For your actual extras it doesn’t seem like you’ve put a lot of effort into them. There is a mini bio on the top, but other then that your extras haven’t required much from you. In the sense that linking to surveys you’ve done, or your profile isn’t really an extra – everybody has it. I think you need to spice up your extras, and I’d probably move the link to your pictures up with the rest of your stuff (reviews, rings, archives). The photos were a nice addition, I’d just like to see more things like 101 Facts or something like that. A bit more personal – after all it is a diary. There are quizzes pages and likes/dislikes but they aren’t linked on the main page. (10/15)

Extra Credit: Self design is worth 3 points here. (3/5)

Lasting Impression: I’m not sure if it’ll stick in my mind, I don’t think I had enough in common with you. I think you’ve done well with your diary, and it was okay while I was there but there is nothing jumping out at me for me to remember it. (3/10)

Will I Come Back?: Probably not. Same reasons as above – nice while I was there but nothing compels me to return. Though I might pop by once in a while to see how the Jon thing pans out, if you ever completely get over him – or even if you get back. (5/10)

Total: 116/160

Number of Entries Read: All of them but some I skim read.

Favorite Entry: This one

Favorite Quote: ”i feel bad. all i could think about while eating the chicken were those greusome chicken pictures online. blech. yet still i am a pig so i ate it all. =/ i would make the worst animal rights activist on the planet”

Comments: Sorry I couldn’t relate to you more. You had a nice diary and I hope you keep it up, and add a few more extras.
